  • Divide and Conquer -- Even a toddler can handle simple chores, so make out a list of things that need to get done and assign tasks to everyone in the house. You can create a chore chart, reward board, or any other type of motivational tool that works for you and your family. Having a visual like this helps keep people on track and accountable. You’ll lessen the load on yourself while teaching your kids valuable lessons in responsibility at the same time.

  • Tidy Up To a Timer -- Sometimes, we don’t do something because we think it is going to take too long.
